ILR is the premier club for developing contacts and networking across a myriad of industries. The residency facilitates frequent interactions with leaders and professionals, through speaker series and events on campus. For students seeking to learn about networking or build upon their list of contacts, ILR has the resources to help them succeed. In addition to on-campus events, ILR regularly connects with employers across the tri state area. With the help of these corporations, we coordinate field trips to provide students with an inside perspective on various industries. Our organization also collaborates with Lehigh entrepreneurs to build businesses and create job opportunities for our residents.  

 

    In the past several years, ILR has hosted networking events with representatives from Big 4 Accounting Firms. These opportunities are only available to ILR residents and always include catered food and informational sessions. As one of our many field trips, we recently had the pleasure of visiting Lutron’s massive corporate campus for a tour of the facilities. Lutron, a global leader in lighting control solutions, demonstrated the marketing, finance, and engineering components of their business model. ILR residents were also given the opportunity to provide resumes for special consideration by Lutron’s campus recruiting team.
