ILR prides itself in working closely with local entrepreneurs to refine their businesses into a marketable product. Students will receive an inside view of the entire entrepreneurial process through working on a project run by the program leaders. ILR will host presentations from the company asking for assistance and, over the course of the next three to four weeks, will work side by side with the entrepreneurs in creating and refining their business plans in a competition format. At the end of the project, the students will present their work to the business who will decide on the winners. These projects give ILR’s members a unique look on the inner workings of a start-up company and real experience in business problem-solving.
